The Green Goddess
A brewpub as part of the Jack’s Acre development will return brewing to Eltham and the local community. Common Rioters are building a socially responsible, community focused business in the form of the a brewpub called The Green Goddess.

Behind the Branding
Common Rioters founders, Stephen and Maryann, have lived locally for many years, and already work closely with many in the community. They approached Hop Forward to help brand their brewpub, The Green Goddess - named after Ninkasi, the ancient Sumerian tutelary goddess of beer as well as the historic contribution of the hop to beer and life in South East London.
More than just a public house, Common Rioters brew beer on site for sale in the pub and beyond, taking pride in being inclusive, providing a place for education and access to work for the local community, and creating a place for a great range of groups to meet.
The logo was digitally drawn using Adobe Illustrator and incorporates the four building blocks of beer - hops, malt, yeast and water - on the goddess herself.
