We were approached by the brewery to help uplift their branding, keeping in line with the brewery’s core values: to brew great craft beer; to provide a supportive and tailored working environment for people with intellectual disabilities; and to raise awareness and educate about the challenges people living with different intellectual disabilities face.
The client didn’t want to deviate too much from their sleek, black look; more, so enhance the range based upon the existing beer names: Spectrum, Fragile X, Undiagnosed and One More.
We felt from the start that we needed a better understanding of the disabilities in order to faithfully represent them visually. Having undertaken research, we set about designing a range of can labels, each of them with their own unique look and feel while retaining elements – such as the typography and place-setting – that were concurrent amongst all the designs.
We refreshed the existing brand making the labels and keg clips more vibrant and unique.
We set up templates for labels and keg clips for a variety of beers.
